On July 24 a man in Iowa, USA, bit off his friend's nose during a drunken argument. The argument was apparently over a broken bike and the pair had been drinking.
The other man asked Donroy Merrival to leave his appartment during the argument. Merrival refused and the other man hit him with a shovel. Merrival then bit off his friend's nose.
Merrival later told police that he did not think he swallowed the nose, but officials are unable to find the nose.

Here is a photograph of a Zimbabwean bank cheque somebody sent to me.

This person bought a farm vehicle for "One Quintrillion, Seventy Two Trillion Four Hundred and Eighteen Billion and Three Million" Zimbabwe dollars.
Or in numbers
Zim $ 1,072,418,003,000,000.00
Or for you scientists out there
Zim $ 1.072418 x 10E30
Just goes to show that everybody in Zimbabwe is suddenly a mathematician to keep up with their inflation rate.
Inflation is rising every 9 hours or so!

I love Pacman! Not as much as my friend Patrick but I still think Pacman rocks the party!
A bunch of nutters (or should I say, heros) in New York found a set of streets which has a layout similar to the first level of Pacman.
http://www.pacmanhattan.com/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pac-ManhattanPacmanhattan is a large-scale urban game that utilizes the New York City grid to recreate Pac-man. The "analog" version of Pac-man is being developed in NYU's
Interactive Telecommunications graduate program, they are exploring the impact of moving games out of the virtual environment and into the real world.
A player dressed as Pac-man will run around the Washington square park area of Manhattan while attempting to collect all of the virtual "dots" that run the length of the streets. Four players dressed as the ghosts Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde will attempt to catch Pac-man before all of the dots are collected.
Check out their site for a fun look at gaming in the real world.

Nasa is sending the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) to revisit the moon. The mission is designed to collect information to explore and prepare for future human exploration of the moon.
Your name will be collected and palced onboard the LRO spacecraft.
Click this link to add your name:
http://lro.jhuapl.edu/NameToMoon/index.phpLooks like I have been sleeping on my feet, because there are only 25 days to get your name on the spacecraft. Anyways my name is there now (and Rexmanthe too!).
Here is the homepage of the Orbiter.

In the latest newsletter from
Google Earth Sightseer, it features the world's largest fingerprint.
It is in a recreational park in Brighton and Hove in the U.K. reportedly 38m wide!
One comment on the site reads: "The ‘Fingermaze’ was created by Chris Drury. It was created by putting Yorkstone into limemortar in a Cretan labyrinth, an ancient symbol representing renewal, which Chris has allied to the patterns of our fingerprints. The sculpture also represents the significance in our connection to the earth through touch."

Just for fun I am reviewing a book (and website) called:

(Obviously a book for fun loving adults only) [P.S. A lot of chicks don't get this cool book. I wonder why ;) ]
Title: Dick Tricks
ISBN: 978-91-85449-27-9
Website:
http://www.dick-tricks.comAuthors: David Grehn & Rolf Carlbom
The book has lots of fun ways to liven up any occasion by using, yes you guessed it guys, your dick!
Face it girls, men are fascinated by our own dicks! No surprises there! And guys this book is all about more things to do with your dick. So brace yourselves everybody!
The website is funny and informative! But the thing I like most is nearly all of the images in the book are available on the website!
The black and white drawings are not graphic, which is great. (Aka full colour photos would have sucked , big time!)
The authors proclaim that "This book addresses why our best friend is associated with shame, negativity and taboos and how to break out of that mold."
At least thats what you as the reader are told. I think that statement is absolute rubbish. I think the authors want to spread their chaos far and wide. This book will certainly make wives and girlfriends, the world over, quiver in fear! ( evil laugh )There are tons of ways to get good laughs here! However *disclaimer* I am sure some of these moves (if fully carried out) may get you badly hurt. If not by the moves themselves, then by the intended audience!
There is a particularly cool move called the "ice breaker". You stand and simply drop your pants in the middle of a quiet and reserved dinner party! That should certainly liven things up and get the conversations started!
It is dick game chaos!
There are seriously bad dick imitations of the real everyday objects.
Every wanted to play a dick drum using your scrote and a glass (I didn't and still don't but i laughed stupid!) or fly a mosquito around the room? Every wondered what a shark looks like or how to make your thumb look super swollen?? Cannons, Nuke explosions, hotdogs, its all there!
What if your dick was the Olympic torch lighting the hopes of millions? Well here is your chance to find out! Because I am scared, a couple of the ones I would definitely not be trying out!
Oh yes and your girl will never ask for the time, from your magical "Wristwatch", in quite the same way. Especially when you are naked! Laugh
Go to their web site for free dick-tricks and details about the book! The book is available in South Africa via
Zytek Publishing Pty Ltd otherwise through

Admit it — you've fantasized about soaring through the sky like Superman or swinging from building to building like Spidey. Unfortunately, superheroes exist in only comic books, cartoons and movies. And then it usually takes being doused with radioactive waste or belted by gamma rays to hear a gun cock from a mile away or crush cars like soda cans.
But with scientists apparently drawing inspiration from the comics they read when they were kids, the line between science fiction and science fact has become blurred. Superheroics suddenly seem like a viable career option. Follow the link to see to see how you, too, with today's technologies, can spin webs and get superhuman strength.
