WipEout Pulse for PSP



So the eagerly awaited WipEout Pulse is set to launch in September. The new title boasts 24 new track which you can play in both forward and reverse. You can also look forward to an all new soundtrack (of course...what would WipEout be without the killer soundtrack)as well as some new weapons and ships.

Akihabara retailer Sangatsu Usagi is selling unofficial PLAYSTATION 3 sauce. The phony product lambasts Sony for recent goofs. It features an illustration of Ken Kutaragi, notice of the SIXAXIS Emmy fiasco and the promised one million shipment number. There are even 20GB and 60GB versions of the sauce!

Linux ported to Sony PSP

A self-described "world famous celebrity hacker" has managed to boot uClinux on Sony's MIPS-based PSP (Playstation Portable). Chris Mulhearn's port so far lacks support for key PSP peripherals such as the screen, but could interest hackers able to connect serially to the PSP's "remote headphones" port.
