I Bid http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20080210-vista-capable-scheme-was-panned-as-misleading-at-microsoft.html
Back in April 2007 a class action lawsuit was filed against Microsoft. The plaintiff is maintaining that computers which were sold with "Vista Capable" stickers on them were misleading and cost their clients money in upgrading their hardware to run Windows Vista.
The plaintiff maintains that the computers could run a very bare-bones copy of Vista Home Edition but with all the key features of Vista disabled. (Such as no Aero Glass, Flip3D and no Media Centre features).
Microsoft's defense is that the clients should have investigated what the "Vista Capable" sticker meant and what the difference was between "Vista Capable" and "Premium Ready".
Once again Microsoft are bulldozing customers and the general public at large to fall in line with their marketing schemes. Shame on you Microsoft!
