The South Africa Bikers Toy Run - Trying to break a world record!

Referring to the following article

Every year the motor biking community gets together and does a Toy Run for charity. The entry fee for each bike is a toy which gets donated to charity.

How the event is organized is basically each bike meets at a venue in their local area and they drive together in convoy to a venue. Last year it was Westbank Raceway in Germiston for the Gauteng region.

This year they are trying break the Guinness World Record of the most bikes in one place. Currently the record stand at 22,000. What they have done is canceled all the toy runs in the country and hold only one event in Gauteng.

The event will be held on 25th November 2007 and more information can be found at http://www.toyrun.org.za/. Last year they organized over 45,000 toys!
